Prescription drug use growing among teens. Beware of the criminal charges you face for possession of someone else's drug

I have two different Kalamazoo area high school and college students who were stopped in traffic stops and found to have someone else's prescription pills on them. One had adderall, the other Vicodin. Now both students are facing felony charges. Many students buy and use adderall to study for exams. They had no idea having one pill without a prescription is a felony. Hope it was worth it. I am trying to get the charges reduced to a misdemeanor or get them a deferral so later the charges can be dismissed. Most people, especially kids have no idea this is a felony. Please spread the word. Knowledge is a powerful deterrent.
